Amateur is a specialty endurance store in downtown New Canaan, opened July 2026 by Alex Holmes after twenty years in fashion retail (Barneys New York among them). The shop curates footwear, apparel and accessories across running and cycling — Norda, Satisfy, District Vision, Bandit, Tracksmith, MAAP, and Universal Colours.
